Engage with Scott Baugh - Candidate for CA

Congressional District 47

Scott has a ground game to win back this district for OC conservatives. Scott joined us at our February and June meetings. He discussed what we learned in the last election and what's critical to win the next one.

Is Orwell’s 1984 becoming a reality?

If you're tired of censorship and dystopian threats against civil liberties, you won’t want to miss this movie. “Police State” is an explosive piece of cinema from political filmmaker and author, Dinesh D’Souza, creating waves by aligning itself with free speech and anti-censorship ideals, displaying a commitment to the unfiltered dissemination of content.

In the face of rampant online censorship, D’Souza’s “Police State” sheds light on the impending risks to American civil liberties, and exposes the encroaching threat of a police state in a country that has traditionally valued individual freedoms above all else. The GLBGOP has purchased rights to screen this film for our members. We hope to have this 2 hour film available to watch with our members at the November meeting. Join us.

Let's fix Prop 19 -- Patrick Ruzgerian joined us at our October meeting to discuss how Prop 19 hurts family-owned homes and farms. The organization For California is circulating a petition to Fix Prop 19. Please visit their website -- www.forcalifornians.com. This petition is supported by many organizations including the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association. Your support is critical.

Mingle with fellow conservatives upstairs for social hour, 5-6, & purchase cocktails and food. General Meeting begins at 6 in the Boma Room, at which time our speakers will make presentations.
